Friday January 15th 7 PM to 9 PM

United Methodist Church, 1500 E. Locust Street, Emmett, ID

Come and learn about the latest Oil & Gas developments here in Idaho! How this will affect me? What can I do about it? We will SHOW you what gas development looks like…

Calvin Tillman, Mayor Emeritus Dish, TX, will be sharing his personal experiences as the former Mayor of Dish and as a sitting Aubrey City Council member.  Think our politicians and state regulators are going to protect us?  Then you definitely need to hear from Calvin!  Want to learn more about Calvin– and why you should hear him speak?  Visit his website at:

Marc McCord from Dallas, TX will also be joining us.  Marc is the Director of Frac Dallas and was instrumental in Dallas passing an oil & gas ordinance that protects private (and public) property rights and citizens’ health.

Alta Mesa is actively engaged in oil and gas development here in Idaho. Both private AND public land has been leased for development throughout the Treasure Valley– and all across Southern Idaho. The State of Idaho offers zero protection to private property owners– their only real protection is of the industry’s interests.

Come learn what you can do and how you can protect your family, your greatest investment– your home and property– and your health.

New York City urged New York state on December 23, 2009 to ban natural gas drilling in its watershed, adding unprecedented support to critics who consider the chemicals used to mine for shale gas as poisonous to drinking water. New York joined environmentalists and small-town neighbors of drilling operations in trying to hinder the exploitation of one of the most promising sources of U.S. energy — the Marcellus Shale formation. We will be serving refreshments immediately following the presentation.

CAIA continues to be the only organization in Idaho that is actively challenging oil and gas companies’ reckless practices.
