The recently renovated Whittenberger Planetarium reopens Friday, November 7, 2014 with its second public show of the school year inside Boone Hall on The College of Idaho campus in Caldwell. The Planetarium, which now has new cove lights and handicapped access, will feature comets and comet landing for the 7 p.m. show in anticipation of the Rosetta mission’s plan to land on a comet in November. The show, which costs $5 for adults or $2.50 for children ages 4-17, also includes an overview of the current constellations and planets visible in the Idaho night sky.***

Free parking for Whittenberger Planetarium patrons is available in the lot between Boone Science Hall and Jewett Auditorium on the corner of 20th Avenue and Fillmore Street.
